What does this mean(wordplay)?

Rocio Karvis: he was playing an instrument and asked a guy if he would rather want to play electric or acoustic and he said sitting next to electric wich maybe a drummer ? XD was he drunk o.o ,, ?

Teaching voice to preschooler?

Will Camus: there is not a quick or singularly right way to teach a child to read. Just remember repetition and familiar stories will make it easier. While recognizing the alphabet and understanding the phenoms (sounds) associated with the letters is important it is not the most important. 1} Some of the ways you can encourage literacy is to label the common items in your classroom or household. Labeling will help to associate the shape of the letters/words with the object. Labeling a door and a doll will help a child associate the d shape with the sound 'd'. 2} Reading predictable and rhyming books like those by Eric Carle, Laura Numeroff, and numerous others. I'm partial to the If you give... series by laura numeroff and Felicia Bond. I have included a link that i have referred to often when creating lesson plans for my class. I hope this helps....Show more

Randolph Lozoya: Your suppose to be the teacher, so why are you asking?

Jonathon Labonne: Its not even! about teaching 'voice' its about the children having fun...singing simple songs like ABC or even start with songs that they know and from there you can start to teach them simple new songs

is silver tooth filling toxic?

is silver tooth filling toxic?

answers 0:my back tooth broke in half down to the gum only thing left is the silver filling and the other half of tooth . i have a bad taste in my mouth and in lost of pain.answers 1:It is not toxic at all. The mercury in it has been combined with other metals for form an amalgam. Also, the mercury used in a silver filling is elementary mercury, which can be swollwed even if liquied and not combined to other metals like it is in your filling. However, you really need to see the dentist soon to get that tooth fixed!answers 2:no it isn't "toxic", it can be a little "un"healthy, when the amalgam or silver filling is first placed it is soft, so the trace amounts mercury that may be amalgamated in the metal has a small chance of escaping at this point, over years of wear and tear there has been no conclusive evidence that i! t seeps out into your mouth, as far as a brk filling, the bad taste is probably decay that festered under the filling material and thus causing the restoration to break down initially...

has anyone ever gone to a dental school for dental treatment?

has anyone ever gone to a dental school for dental treatment?

answers 0:i am very short on cash and have no insurance but i need to have dental work done, i was thinking about going to a dental school..I need to know pros and cons of this.. any info would be greatly appreciated.. thank you.answers 1:About five years ago I got a grant from my county to get a root canal done by the local voc school here in Tampa that has a dental school. I lost 5 fillings by using Dr. George's Dental White (I threatened to sue them but they went out of business, plus I could not get our Bay Area Legal Services, a group that helps those who are low on funds, to back me in the suit. The dental assistant took me in for viewing my teeth. The receptionist told me even though the county was willing to pitch in $1,000 that I needed to pay the dental school $500 upfront! or I couldn't get the procedure done. I complained to the county and the county held a $1,000 for me for two years (I'm told) and I don't know what happened to the money, but the voc school refused to back down and assist me....answers 2:You can get your work done at a dental school and the work will be good. No question about the quality of work versus a private practice dentist. The biggest thing to consider is how much your time is worth. You may pay 25-50% of the costs of a private practice dentist, but expect to go through the program for a long time at a school. There is no coming in, getting a cleaning and getting 3 fillings done in two total appointments. I would expect that to seriously take 6-7 appointments of 3 hours each. I had a patient in school that I did a cleaning, 4 fillings, 3 crowns and 2 partial dentures. Took me about 2 years and 25 3-hour appointments to get it done. She was retired so time wasn't an issue. You also can't call 5 minutes befo! re and cancel. Do that a couple of times and you'll be releas! ed from the school. These students depend on you neing there as they have requirements to complete and only 1 patient for a 3 hour appointment, Hope this helps and good luck!...answers 3:There is no con except that appointments take longer.answers 4:ive had 4 teeth filled at my local dental school.i do have a dentist, but its a lot cheaper and i always have him look over the work because i will have it fixed if done incorrectly.i think its worth it but it really depends on how experienced the dental student is. you wanna make sure hes not the one sleeping in class lol.answers 5:I have personally had a ton of work done at a dental school. The only con is sitting for 3 hours in a chair while the work is being done. Honestly, that was the best work that has ever been done for my teeth. The pros would be great work is performed. Every step is overseen by a licensed dentist. This is why it takes so long! Every student must pass "Boards" where they do a specific procedure! and get either a Pass-Fail grade. I have sat for a couple of these as well. It does take much longer to have things done. But, I made great friends with my student. I would go if I were you. This was a University not a trade school. Please check them out before you go!...

Scholarships for studying abroad?

Ron Keliipio: If you want to study abroad, I really recommend looking into the United World College movement. It's a group of 13 international high schools which use education as a way to bring young people together for peace and a sustainable future. Most people are on scholarship, creating a very special environment. At any given time, there are people there from 50 different countries. It's a two-year program, so people are there for their junior and senior years of high school. The daughter of one of my friends went to the school in the United Kingdom, and she loved it. She met people from all over the world, and has never failed in her enthusiasm for the program. She has made lifelong friends, and has made a commitment to being a force for change in our world. She's currently taking a year off from college to do service work in Uganda. She has mentioned that her time at UWC were the two most difficult years of her life so far, but they have also been among the most am! azing for her, as well. She has gained so much confidence and an understanding of what it means to be an American in our very globalized world. The American national committee is the group in charge of selecting Americans to study at these school. Fifty Americans are chosen every year, which 25 going to the campus in New Mexico, eight going to the UK, and the rest are divided evenly amongst the rest all over the world. You're offered a full scholarship, including room and board. It's quite a competitive process to be selected. You must go in for an interview and the application is very similar to that of the CommonApp. The full scholarship is worth the effort, though. You can go to these links for more info. Good luck!!:Main UWC Page: www.uwc.orgAmerican National Committee: www.uwc-usa.orgInsightful Story from UWC Atlantic student: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/8286521/i......Show more

Caleb Chapman: Your regular financial aid should apply to the study abro! ad program's fees, but you can also check with the school that! will be hosting you for international student scholarships. The one I am looking at, University of Westminster in London, has a pretty hefty scholarship American students can apply for. The program that runs your study abroad may also have scholarships available. Good luck!

Lonnie Jehle: Sorry I forgot to mention that I plan to study in Georgia, Europe.

Anibal Katayama: Um, I'm not sure where you plan to study, but I know an immigrant from India who came here (Canada) to study and he received crazy scholarships from banks and from the university just because he was a an immigrant. They say it's more expensive for immigrants (and it is), but they receive a lot of it back from scholarships so I guess it cancels some of it out.

What kind of degree is required in Michigan to teach Special Education?

Pasty Cobbett: An undergraduate degree is sufficient unless you wanted to become a diagnostician (the person who tests people refered for special education enrollment). This would require a masters. The rules for becoming a teacher are fairly uniform across states. But as for specific certification (specific courses, standardized tests..etc) in your state, I'd talk with 1) the education department at the college(s) you are personally interested in. Arrange for campus visits with professors to talk with them if possible. 2) The education agency regulating k-12 schools in MI; they are responsible for issuing teacher certification 3) The education agency regulating higher education in MI; they are responsible for allowing any college or university in the state to first exist and then to offer a teacher education curriculum including for people wanting to teach special education. Unless this agency approves the teacher ed curriculum, an institution of higher ed cannot offer ! it.These people would provide state-specific policies for becoming that teacher. ...Show more

Using Quotation Mark and Writing Question! Help!?

Donovan Stallons: In both MLA and APA format, you create a works cited page with all of the books, magazines, encyclopedias, internet sources, interviews, etc. that you used for research. How you use the information that you found will determine how it gets cited within your paper. The basic why is that it is the honest thing to do to give credit for an idea to the person who wrote it.On your questions:1. When you use an author's name in the text and paraphrase the words. 2. When you paraprase or use a general concept without using the author's name in your text3. Quotation marks indicate a direct quote from another author4. So the reader knows who originally said it5. So the reader knows it is a direct quote. Here are good websites that can guide you as you write your paper:For English papers and some other humanities use MLA stylehttp://www.ccc.commnet.edu/mla/index.shtmlhttp://www.dianahacker.com/resdoc/p04_c08_o.htmlFor social sciences and education, use APA style ! http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/01/...Show more

Dawn Saha: 1. When you've used ANY information from somewhere that was not your own. Quotation marks go around any cites that are short like short stories, poems, articles, interviews... etc. If you took a short story out of a book, then the book would be in Italics and the story would be in quotations. Same with Magazines, Journals. 2. Same as above but longer cites use italics, not quotations. Novels. Books containing volumes.3. See 1 and 2.4 & 5. If you use any information that is not your own... say you quoted someone, you need to cite it. Cite where you got that quote from.P.S. Where is your teacher?...Show more

Esteban Lyson: No. I don't ever put my characters' thoughts into quotation marks. Ever. I think it makes it very hard to realize whether they're saying something or thinking it. What I do is either italicize it or just tell the reader that my character thought it. I make the thoughts in! present tense so that gives it away as well.

What is "primary school?"?

Long Woltjer: Here in England primary school is what we call School from the ages of 5-11. Secondary is from the ages of 11-16. We then have higher education at 16-18 which is voluntary but needed to go to Uni. We can leave school at 16.

Ramona Pago: The words primary and secondary are the clue.Primary school is the 1st school we go to at 5 years old to 10-11.We then go to secondary school till we are 16.

Education in Canada, is it free?

Kenneth Thuesen: Elementary and secondary education (Grades 1-12) are free in most countries around the world like Taiwan, US and Canada. As for university, you are incorrect in that assumption. You pay for university just like you pay for any other schooling past Grade 12. All post-secondary education is user-pay (as in you pay for what you take).

Majorie Chester: Your leaping the gun right here- merely on account which you moved to Canada does not advise your babies can legally pass right here the two. There are strict rules on sponsership, and this implies you need to attend a minimum of three years when you have substitute right into a Canadian Citizen, actuality is you your self are actually not one, you're purely a "non everlasting citizen" and you need to discover somebody to sponsor you.

Renita Sefton: Yes "Public" education from kindergarten through Grade 12 is free in Canada. Each province has a maximum they are allowed to ask for from each parent. ! In Ontario for example, they can ask for up to 20$/month from parents to cover costs for field trips, Agenda's, etc. These schools are funded by way of taxes levied. There are Private Schools, that you have to pay for. Though the government (your tax money) still subsidizes some of the costs of post-secondary education. The student is still responsible for tuition fees, books, students fees, etc. When I was in University, I had to pay $6000/year even though it technically costs 11 thousand more (the government gives money to the University to cover the difference)....Show more

Nikki Sypult: We are quite fortunate in Canada since there is an educational system that is accessible from Junior Kindergarten to grade 12 in High School for all students. Our system is supported through our tax dollars but access is universal to all children.Due to the fact it is accessible it is called public school system. We also have private schools which utilize user fees in order to at! tend. These fees pay for the operation of the schools. We someti! mes complain about our public school system but often overlook the fact our schools accept students of all abilities which can mean some difficulties when planning programs, staffing and books and supplies since operating budgets must be met.Sometimes schools hold fundraisers to reduce or eliminate the cost of school trips, special equipment for classes such as computers , books for the class or library or other items that did not fit the budget. Our public schools .in most cases, are successful due to the efforts of not only our individual school administrators and staff, students, parents and volunteers but also the input and support of the parents devoting their time to the Parent Teacher Association. There is no such thing as a free ride since the money must come from somewhere.Since we don't have a direct user free , most people consider it free although universal accessibility might be a better teem.Compared to tuition in other countries ,Canada seems to have quite reason! able fees.Tuition fees are determined by the degree you are going for.Tuition is paid by semester. You can also pay for individual courses if you want. There are a wide variety of courses and degrees that you can take .Some courses will allow you to sit on classes for free but you receive no credit for taking them.I think that what can take the cost of going to university up are the expenses if a student moves away from home. The cost of a student residence ,meals or meal plans, bus passes. desk top or laptop computer( although universities and student residences do have access to computers it is better to have your own )anything that is a cost for living away from home will be an additional expense for the student (or the parents).Students are also eligible for bursaries, scholarships and grants as well as student loans ( which can be a nightmare when it comes time to repay them )If you are a foreign student the tuition fees are higher , which is only fair, since our taxat! ion system pays into the operating costs of universities.I think foreig! n students should pay more for their tuition just like our children do if they go to the States or abroad to learn. The cost of an education is for the eventual benefit of the user and should be considered an investment not a liability....Show more

What do I major in if I want to be a Special Education teacher?

Stephnie Patout: Your need to get a teaching endorsement in special education to go along with your bachelors. Any school youre considering can set this up for you. Some even have programs where you can get multiple endorsements at one time (such as reading and special ed)

Claire Billegas: It depends on the state you want to teach in. In many states, you can get a Bachelor's degree in any subject, and then you get your teaching credential as 5th year of study. Some states do have a BA course of study in special education, but in most cases, you can get your BA in any subject that you are interested in, since you have to complete a 5th year of study to get your credential. Your best bet is to check with the Department of Education in the state where you intend to teach. You should be able to find their websites and look at the requirements for getting a credential in any subject area. I am not aware of any states that issue Special Education credentials by grade! level (Elementary or Secondary) - most have credentials designated by the area of student need, such as Blind/ Visually Impaired, Deaf/ Hard of Hearing, Mild to Moderately Disabled, Moderately to Severely Disabled, etc. But it will be a bit different in each state, so you will need to do some research....Show more

Wilbur Marksberry: You would certainly need to have one of the categories of disabilities as a major concentration. There are about 13. Inquire to a school that offers your choice of areas. Meet the curriculum for that area of study. If you want to teach the milder disabilities, some schools have an interrelated programs (MID, BD, LD), or programs for the more severe areas. You will need to refine what you want to do before you start to study. Go to schools and ask teachers working in those areas to give you some ideas also. Volunteer there to see if you are right for this area of work. Personally, I think its the best....Show more

If I home-schooled for preschool, would my child be behind his peers while attending public kindergarten?

Asley Quickle: My son went to preschool 2 hours a day, one day a week and he was never behind. My good friend's children never went to preschool, and they are all honor students. They all started public school knowing how to read because she spent time with them. They went on to homeschool after 4th grade (with us).Preschool is not necessary or even good for some children. Go with your gut and spend time with your child-you can teach him so much more than he will learn in a roomful of kids. Enjoy!Best of Luck!Janahttp://www.homeschooljungle.com...Show more

Victor Macallister: i didnt go to regular preschool and when i started kindergarden i was so far ahead, i could have gone on to first grade without any problems. if you do homeschool him, make sure he can do the basics with shapes, reading, writing, numbers, animals and stuff like that. if your kid goes into kindergarden reading and writing he will be much further ahead than the other kids and school will be a bre! eze.

Kenneth Queener: No, it is extremely unlikely that your child will be behind if you homeschool preschool. It is more likely that he will work ahead and then be bored in kindergarten. Preschool doesn't take an expensive curriculum either. Here is a list of what your child will need to know:http://www.worldbook.com/wb/Students?curriculum/pr... Read over that list of what your child will have to learn and you will discover that you probably have a lot of the equipment and toys that you would need around your house already. When you get to items on the list like "Is not afraid to go to school," or "Likes teachers," simply substitute church or playgroup etc. The point is the child needs the skills to enjoy a controlled environment outside the home, it does not *have* to be a school....Show more

David Kuper: It's relatively easy to have him be fully caught up with, or well ahead of, children who attended pre-school in terms of academics. What he will be missing! out on is social skills. You will need to make a big effort t! o have him play with others, learn to share, learn cooperative task performance, learn to take turns, learn to be quiet and listen, learn to defer gratification, and all that stuff which kids who go to pre-school will have in place when they arrive at kindergarten.I don't see the need for purchasing any curriculum at all. Our kids could read and do arithmetic simply through my efforts to involve them in everything I did during their waking hours....Show more

Amada Greising: I think he'd probably be okay, but he might not learn some things that they learn in preschool, like dealing with other children and sharing, but if he were to be around other children sometimes it wouldn't be a problem anyways. besides that though I don't think he would be behind at all as long as you did you're part in teaching him.Good luck! =]...Show more

Alphonso Brake: Your child won't be academically behind a child who goes to preschool if you teach him/her the same pre-academic concep! ts that children who attend preschools are exposed to. Instead of purchasing a pre-packaged curriculum, focus on hands-on activities. Kids at this age are wired for play and learn best through play. You don't have to use worksheets or make education formal. He simply needs to be taught the concepts preschools focus on; colors, shapes, counting and 1:1 correspondence, letters, spacial concepts like under, in, over, behind etc. I do think it's a good idea for all children this age to have exposure to play groups and/or other activities with children their own age. Tiny-tots gymnastics, dance, church groups etc. My kids enjoyed being in a group and having a bit of independent time away from me. You could do this through a play group where you aren't present, or other activities. It seems to make the eventual separation more comfortable. Here are some ideas for teaching your child: Make letters out of play-do. Draw them in sand, whipped cream or if you child doesn't eat! non-food items, shaving cream. Fill a dish tub with rice and sift thro! ugh the rice for letters. Go fishing for magnetized letters in a tub. Use a pole with a magnet on it. I once strung a clothes line across the wall and my daughter pinned up baby socks with letters written on them with fabric paint on them in alphabetical order. Sort letters by their appearance; letters with straight lines in one pile, curved and circles in another. Read to your son. Do puzzles and counting games. Start by teaching math concepts not written numerals. Count objects. Subtract goldfish crackers by eating them. Have you seen the Cheerios counting book? It's really fun for little kids and teaches counting 1-10. Building with duplo blocks and hanging on the bars at the park helps to build hand strength and fine motor skills. So does finger painting. Your son should be learning through play. One thing that I'd like to add is that websites geared at preschools are great resources. Don't be afraid that because they are geared at preschool teachers, that they are not f! or families. People sometimes get into "us/them" mentality and look only at materials specifically for homeschooling. But good hands on activities for small kids can be done at home or in a preschool. You'll find your homemade play-do recipes, craft ideas, ideas for letter and number recognition, shape and color recognition, ideas for teaching counting and basic addition and subtraction on lots of sites. Here are a few good sites:http://www.preschoolexpress.com/alphabet…http://www.lessonplanz.com/Lesson_Plans/…(This links to other sites)http://www.preschoolexpress.com/alphabet…This next one is a good site that has letter recognition and counting activities:http://www.preschoolrainbow.orgFor counting:http://www.preschoolrainbow.org/counting…http://kids.lovetoknow.com/wiki/Math_Act…http://www.preschoolactivitybox.com/pres…This is a lesson plan for the Cheerios Counting Book.

Deja tus axilas naturales.

Should the higher education be provided free of charge to anyone?

Davina Shindler: Ideally higher education would be provided to all those who want it, and are capable of using it, free of charge. In UK, this used to be true, where tuition fees, and living expenses were paid for. This was at a time when only 1 in 8 attended university. Today, many more people aspire to university (approaching 1 in 2), but there is no more money, so the same money needs to spread more thinly (University is still subsidised, but not to the same extent). Enough people want to attend without extra financial inducement, and therefore society receives the positive externality anyway (i.e. a high % of highly educated people).Ideally higher education would be free of charge, but fortunately plenty of students want to attend even though it isn't, and therefore society gets the benefits anyway....Show more

Kip Ockenfels: People tend not to value that which is free. And to avoid waste of resources, perhaps it would be best to have free education only fo! r students who attain a reasonable grade point average. Also, not all education is equally useful and needed in the economy. Producing a lot of PhD's in Islamic studies or in Christian Theology probably won't help the economy much. But producing more engineers and scientists probably would help the economy a lot in the long run.And for this reason, taxpayer support for education should be selective rather than indiscriminate....Show more

Christiane Cattano: True b/c externalities exceed cost, so net effect is positiveIn fact, it might be beneficial to pay people to enter college. Even if tuition is waived, doing college costs time and effort. If externalities exceed these costs, it is optimal to compensate kids for entering college.

Russell Mckinzie: I don't know what you mean by "externalities." I think if university education were free, you would have a lot more party schools than there are already. There are a LOT of kids who take easy classes and just scre! w around (I remember from my days in college in the 80's). I t! hink that would get worse, just extending high school for some of the party types. So in the US, I don't agree it should be free. I do think it is priced way too high nowadays, though, so should be subsidized more, like it used to be in the 70's....Show more

Isaias Badgley: No it should not.Society should provide education where social benefits=social costs. If the state where to pay for higher education, you would see social costs exceed social benefits.Yes, it is better to maximize personal benefits by going to college, but society should not foot the bill.In fact, it has been studied by development economists that providing education up to high school produces more social costs than benefits. You also look at a nation like India. They are suffering from credentialization because everyone has a college degree and many people have a masters. What happens is you have people getting a bachelors so that they can better battle for a janitorial job or such. The costs ! aren't worth it if higher education is given to everyone. Think of it like the inflation of the education system....Show more

Financial Aid Question(Fafsa)?

Shena Etulain: What my college does is the tuition deferment. They defer our tuition payment (meaning we do not have to pay it within a certain time period), and for me it is usually 2 months. By then, I have my financial aid already, so I don't have to worry. Ask your college if they do the same thing.

Dorris Homola: In this time of the year everyone seems to ask something similar to this. The answer is financial aid is not applied until 10 days before classes begin. When you qualify for financial aid and have your file completed, the classes go on hold until financial aid can be applied. Whatever is left over from financial aid is then sent to qualifying bookstore for books and supplies and by mid semester if anything is left it given as a check to the student.Financial aid is always applied 10 days before classes begin...Show more

Why doesn't TiVo just add a browser for Hulu type sites?

Tracy Huesso: Because Tivo is NOT a PC. It does not have an x86 processor, but a smaller DSP that can't handle a browser.

TiVo??????

Conrad Puleio: Yes, but not easily. One option is to record all of your shows at a lower quality setting such as "Basic" quality or "Medium" quality rather than at "High Quality" or "Best Quality". This will allow you to squeeze as many shows onto your existing TiVo as possible. Although the picture quality may not be what you want. You can check the settings for each and every show in your Season Pass and change it under the "Options" settings. This could be quite a pain in the .... given that you may have a lot of shows to change.I would also recommend that you change all your "critical" shows to "keep until I delete" under recording options and "sacrifice" lesser shows. The other option is to consider upgrading the hard drive in your TiVo to a larger hard drive. If you or a friend are technically competent with a screw driver and don't mind opening up your TiVo, you can order a hard drive upgrade from http://www.weaknees.com/ and install it. This can change your! 80-hour TiVo into a 160 hour TiVo or more, depending on how much you are willing to spend (starting around $140).In some cases you can just add another disk. In some cases you need to replace your existing disk. If you replace your existing hard disk, you will lose your existing settings and programs (because they are on the hard disk you just removed) and will need to reprogram your Season Passes.I did this with my original TiVo Series 1 and was very happy. I couldn't personally watch low quality recordings. However, I waited until the TiVo was out of warranty before I did this.If you want to see how complicated this is, here are the instructions:http://www.weaknees.com/upgrade-instructions.php...Show more

Delora Struzzi: No I'm afraid you are going to have to miss some shows. The newer dvr's do record up to 200 hours, though.

Is it at all possible to use a DVR without a land line phone connection?

Claudio Drullard: i desire to advise getting a DVR the place you do no longer could desire to pay a month-to-month value. basically pass on your community electronics shop, they have them. of direction, they value greater in view which you do no longer could desire to pay a month-to-month value yet in the long-term it quite is worth it and it will shop you funds. the reason TiVos and appropriate DVR's require you hook up a telephone line is so they could close off your provider in case you do no longer pay your invoice. exceedingly elementary. wish this helps, and powerful success! :)...Show more

what is your opinion on PDA?

Ezekiel Kadner: i don't really care. unless it's way too intimate. small kisses are fine, but not heavy making out and stuff..especially when there are little kids around. i think it's really annoying when people kiss in public to be cool in front of their friends..sometimes it's just akward. holding hands though? who cares

Silvia Stclair: I usually go up and ask them "Mind if I cut in?"

Coralie Goldsberry: I'm not a fan. I was stuck with my brother and his GF at the mall once, and they had their tongues shoved down each other's throats the whole time. It was super uncomfortable. If it's not too mushy, I'm OK with it. But when I was in high school, lovers would block the hallways to make out and grope. It's not easy getting by an almost X-rated porno display without ending up late to class... Most annoying was when they were making out against my locker.

Ronnie Barcus: hand holding or just a kiss dosen't bother me.. but if it's full on make out then yeah.! .. get a roomunless it's at the airport and you haven't seen that person in forever.. or like ther about to leave for iraq or something... then i understand that

Rick Duchane: Doesn't bother me.

Faviola Dewire: lmao @ the categoryI don't really care what people do, as long as I can see everybodys hands

Sharron Salin: I do it with my friends a lot, partly as a joke, partly so they can't get away, partly so I don't have to run top speed after them when they run away and leave me in the dark, and partly because I loves them.As long as they aren't going past simple kissing, I see no problemAlthough those couples holding hands at the small small skating rink are extremely annoying to skate behind....Show more

Caryl Mclaen: well i think its ok as long as they aren't doing a whole lot of overly- lovey stuff. it can get disgusting pretty easily., but i don't mind a little

Season Confalone: holding hands, okay.sweet kissing (like a peck on the cheek on ! lips) okay.hugging, okayfull make out session and roaming, gro! ping hands. NO.get a room people!...Show more

Particia Thorton: Personally I think it gross, rude and totally unnesscary !Honestly not everyone wants to get a glimpse of what yu do behind closed doors !

Merlin Fleischhacker: Hand holding, hugging, and small kisses, not sucking face. I can deal with a little PDA but really, PDA should stand for Private Display of Affection, meaning it's done in private.

Matt Gerdeman: grose

Barton Slisz: some ppl take it far...they do need to get a room. but when its just a kiss, hand hold, or somthine minimal...i dont think theres a prob.

Veta Slicker: Im not a fan of PDA. I feel like people should do those things in a private place, not somewhere that makes everyone else feel uncomfortable as well. I wont do it with a guy, and i would hope others wouldnt too.

Nelly Kikuchi: I honestly don't care, as long as they don't go beyond kissing.

Autumn Vacio: I engage in it regularly, it happens even somet! imes without my permission!

Garrett Detone: Well, it depends how much they are displaying. Like if its merely holding hands and a peck on the lips is nothing to frown on, I think. HOWEVER, if they are right there, gettin' down, copulating on the diner table, then it's a little much. O_O

Douglass Sarley: no i engage in pda evry day......its realle fun :)

which upcoming handheld will be better? nintendo 3ds or the new psp?

Veta Slicker: Depends the types of games you like.Shooting or sports game psp is better.Arcade games nintendo

Woodrow Neyman: psp already has internet access and it can use wi fi, added that it theres tons of awesome games on the psp and not much on the ds ill stay with my psp, dissidia and dissidia duodecim ftw

Enriqueta Steffen: Comparing game systems is ridiculous, people will always have gripes with either. Both will be good in their own right. I'm excited for the PSP NGP's hardware and possibility of monster hunter titles. Not to mention the two long awaited thumbsticks. I'm also excited for the 3DS both for the possibly surprising 3D effect and a more powerful portable. Nintendo has always had games and third party supper that ends up making great use of their system. I anxiously await my preorder and any announcements on Etrian Odyssey 3DS...Show more

Brian Marquina: i don't know what PSP ur talking aboutPS Phone (Xperia Play) or PS Portable2 (NG! P)anyways the NGP will be better but i will be getting everything (PS Tablet, Portable2, Phone & 3DS)you can check out the features on youtube if u want...Show more

Claude Gloden: 3DS. Additionally to being one hundred% backwards compatible (so the entire DS video games you want are playable), it has some satisfactory performance. It is a decent digicam, can take 3D snap shots *and* video (max 10 min clips), can go head-to-head with each DS's and different 3DS's, and has an virtually first rate pedometer (earn cash to spend in the Nintendo e-retailer), and is a half of-approach first rate tune player. The 3DS additionally has what is referred to as "Streetpass," because of this that if we have the equal game (and the game helps it), my personality and your persona can duke it out and the winner receives a trophy/buff/and so on. If enabled, that you would be able to additionally let each person know your tune high-ten, and your Mii characters can migrate to their metho! d, and show up in games that enable Miis in! Targeted games ca! n also be played "In the real World" as good with the use of better truth (where the game engages the 3D cameras, and projects the sport elements onto the reveal over the digicam snapshot. The better of the games I've visible do that thus far is known as "The Hidden", the place you battle ghosts in your neighbourhood (the sport really encourages you to walk around). It additionally periodically "restocks" the spooks and spectres, so cleared areas do not stay cleared! As yet another poster acknowledged, the library (correct now) is small, however it *is* growing!...Show more

Adan Alipio: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tin0DNDLxlc

Jodie Capella: I don't know about the 3DS having netflix or wifi, but the Sony NGP will definitely have WiFi, 3G, and GPS.

Solomon Belback: Depends On What You're Looking For In A Handheld!Personal Preference Is NGP (PSP 2)

May Stands: the new psp is supposed to be the ps3 crammed into a handheld. I'm personally going to go w! ith that. I like alot of playstation games. Plus with the Playstation Network support you'll be able to download classics and play original psp games. It'll have better graphics along with much better features.

Which PDA/Handheld should I buy?

Hilton Paiva: Get a PDA running Windows Mobile 5, the most recent version of PDA software and widely respected.I've recently bought a QTEK S200 handheld (also known as an HTC Prophet or Dopod 818Pro). It combines a cell phone with MS Mobile programs (Word, Excel, Outlook sync, PowerPoint, Windows Media Player (video and music); has infrared, regular cell phone communication abilities on all four world transmission bands, wi-fi and bluetooth (wi-fi is to communicate using access points or your home wireless broadband network; bluetooth is for local devices such as external keyboards or wireless headsets).
