Remodeling room need a lot of advice?

Jerald Florence: Dark colors on the floor are better as they actually ground the space, so you are fine with the dark carpeting. I would put the black furniture as the white furniture against a white wall would not look good. I would recosider the red accents since I can't see that with the burgundy carpet.

William Vickerman: i tell my grandkids to fix there room, there way . take some color out of your room and see watch will go with them. but use your own way to do it you going be in there not us.

Lupe Sancen: if your going to buy carpet i would just go ahead & get hardwood. i wouldnt paint your wall white. you will get very bored with it easily & want to cover up the dullness with pictures, posters etc. & this is going to end up damaging your wall. i would go with a tan or grey silver color. but, if your going to keep the walls & carpet i would get a black dresser for the simple fact that your room needs to be toned down cause you are going to have red re! d red white & not many other colors.. so if you bring in a black dresser it will complete the room & add more to your white walls & the dresser will add to the room & make your walls seem brighter. you dont want a white dresser on a white wall. hope it helped(:...Show more

Even black furniture will not make this look o.k.You will need a focal wall to bring the dark color up. I would choose black furniture. The comforter set should combine the colors of floor, wall and carpet. Since black and white aren't colors, an accent color should be chosen, even if it is only a small pillow on the bed - a light green would be nice. Carter Dewater: No red and black,,, that's too 70's. red with white is very chic. Make your white the dominate color, splash's of red. I know you have carpet in burgandy, but get a white 8x10 rug to go OVER the carpet to tone it down. Use sparingly but large acceceries (white and off white). You just might like the results. Maybe for very light spots of color for accent, use, tan or brown for neutrals, this creates a softer more contemporary feel, or yellow's, green is the complimentry color for red.
