I got invovled with the Earth Club at my son! s school and started looking for more information. I read "The! I'm not saying you need to go out and buy green products the most important principal of a green lifestyle is reduce. Think about things before you buy them, do you need them or just want them. Before you go out and buy new c! lothes try this, decide what a reasonable number of shirts, pants etc is then count what you have, chances are good you have a lot more than you think you need. If you really feel like you need to refresh your wardrobe throw a swap party, go through your closet and find things that you never wear, invite a few freinds to do the same, have them bring their unwanted items and trade items. Millions of years ago, where I am standing now (West Virginia) was about where the Atlantic Coastline stood. There is evidence in fossils, rock layers, etc. ! Vernon Martorana: I think the 90s was the music bridge between the 80s and 2000s to make what was developing in the 80s bring forth and become to today's music. I don't listen to mainstream pop rap stuff so i couldn't really tell you. Alternative Rock formed in the 90s (was underground in the 80s as College Rock or whatever). Most of the good music was underground in the 90s. Progressive Rock Revivals like Porcupine Tree. Stoner Rock was formed (i.e. sounds similar to grunge but slower and psychedelic). Indie Rock was underground then in the 90s but i see artists going mainstream today although now they are just or should be Alternative Rock....Show more

Jonelle Eligio: Goats, sheep, horses and yes, cattle all have horizontal pupils. The reason why goat's pupils show is that their irises are pale (amber or brown), but those of most sheep, horses and cattle etc are very dark brown, almost black. Some horses have blue eyes (or quite often just one blue eye), and this shows up the pupils too. If you look very closely in a horse's eye you'll also see a little fluffy thing hanging down into the pupil from the iris (can't remember what it's called). Many other animals have this too, which I believe helps the focus somehow. When you first see it, it looks as if something awful is growing in there -- but once you realise it's normal, it's really rather beautiful. Mind it's a friendly horse though, or you may find you have fewer noses than before -- many horses don't like being looked at that closely. Of course many animals have vertical pupils -- the smaller cats (not lions etc), foxes (not wolves), some vi! pers and many lizards. In some geckos the vertical slit can close up to leave what looks like several tiny pupils in a line....Show more
